Green Light

"In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer."
-- Albert Camus

Yesterday was one of my green light days. Those are the ones where everything just fits together and flows. Not one thing bothered me yesterday. I often wonder how I can have more of them. But then I think if I try too hard it will just ruin it all. They come, in dribs and drabs.....and are just truly wonderful. I do believe it has a lot to do with what's inside you. If I'm in a great mood...everything is just great. On the other hand if I look at the world with anger or negativeness, that's exactly what I get back. So what I'm really saying is that we all can create our worlds, whatever we want it to be.

May your all have a "green light" day!

Peace

That's wonderful, Odat! What an inspiring post. I also wish you more "green light" days.

Sometimes it's hard to stay positive, but you're right, we have the power to create our own worlds.

Good for you Odat...I love Camus. Here's another quote from him along the same lines:

"Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower."

I agree 100%. The world just is. Not good or bad but our mind makes it so. If we look for good, we'll find it almost everywhere. If we look for evil, we'll find it as well.

Instead of hoping for green light days, perhaps we should just look for green lights during the day. Some will be red, but at least we'll notice the green ones!

Great post! I believe that is what they used to call going with the flow. And you're so right that you create what you are, and you attract what you put out there.

We could all have much better lives if we were able to remember and live this every day.

Smiles to you!
