Ok...I have a lil pug dog...some people call him Snot (and I'll keep that name here to preserve my real identity, ha ha)....but..I always wonder why he always and i mean always, poops twice every time i take him out? I'm reminded of the title of the movie "The Postman Always Rings Twice"...cause whenever I'm out with Snot I say: "the snotman always poops twice"....(oh well i thought it was funny).

Hi, I came across your blog as I was doing an internet search. I googled "pug poops twice." Haha this may sound funny to non - pug owners, but for those of us fortunate to own one of these little "pigs," and I mean that as a term of endearment, it's a perfectly legitimate question. I recently became a pug owner, to a male fawn whom I have named Rufus. Rufus is currently 9 weeks old, and every time he goes "poo-poo," it's always twice. Just when you think the dirty-deed is over, he squats down and has another. Always. Ok that's not true. Just this morning, he went 3 times! 3! Why they do this I am unsure...but thanks for mentioning it in your blog, I now know that it's not only my pug who goes poo-poo twice!
