stay in the moment/hope springs eternal

I have got to get back to my meditating....deep breaths...staying in the moment type of life.

I'm really good at saying: Yes, I know, stay in the moment...don't fret about the future....if I can't do anything about it now now, why worry. I know all these things to be true....been there, done that over and over. I have it in my experience. So why is it so damn difficult to draw on when you really need to. Well I need to, now! I have to have some medical tests done over the next two weeks and I'm scarred.

"What seems to be a great loss or punishment often turns out to be a blessing. I know, through my own experience, that God never closes one door without opening another." -Yolande D. Herron

"The best way out is always through." -Robert Frost

I'm going through something at the moment that I know will be ok, no matter what the outcome will be. I just know it. And instead of being in the state of panic that slips into my mind in the middle of the night I'll be laughing about it soon, as I usually do.....because my sense of humor has always sustained me....no matter what.

Peace

It is hard sometimes to keep that mentality but you seem to be the type of woman that can definitely maintain it.

Good luck and I'm sending all of the good "vibes" I can muster, your way.

You are in my prayers, and I do suggest that you print off your monkey from yesterday, and put him in your wallet. If he doesn't have a calming or funny affect on you, rinse and repeat.

Odat, I believe you are finding peace. Not happiness. Not sadness. But peace. And that's what I want to find. All the rest is just a nice sugar coating.

An optimistic perspective and a little bit of humor can get you through anything. You have enough of both, so I don't doubt that you'll get through whatever you're going through just fine.

You're strong and willful and a nice person to boot (even though you're a Devils fan). I predict things will come out just fine.
