The Teach sponsors Ruby Tuesday, where we post a picture of something red. The picture has to be one that you took. Here's mine for this week.My boss has a car collection in his office. When I retired he gave me this one. It's not the red convertible that I wanted, but I appreciated it nonetheless. But I forgot what it is...lol. Can anyone tell me what type of car and year it is?

About a '63 Chevy Impala Coupe, with some modification...
From the good old days, don't know what it is but it looks familiar.
nature tales and camera trails
Oh! Chevy Impala SS... Over the years, my dad owned about 4 Impalas, only they were all station wagons... he had 8 kids, afterall!
Impalas wre nice and so were Chevelles.
Impala baby, I would totally be cool with having one of those!!!
I have no idea what kind of car it is, but I like it :o)
Have a great Tuesday!
An Impala SS - Ralph said that stands for Super Sport. It's the '60s!!!
Happy Ruby Tuesday Odat! I am participating too, just having Linky probs.
Drat Buff got it first, I use to owned 67,Impalla, I miss that car.
Dickdy was close except it is a 1964 Impala SS
It would be great if I could minimised myself and drive off in that car :)
You'd look hot in a red convertible!!
that is touching he gave you one of his collection....
I second what Dianne said :)
Wish we lived closer so that we could have tea again this week, Odat. It'd be fun to catch up --
How nice that he did that. See everyone that knows you knows you want a hot, flashy convertible.
We're off to the boat for a long holiday weekend. See you next week.
Have a great day honey. Big hug and lotsa lovies. :)
Cool car. Too bad you can't grow it up into full size.
Pity it wasn't a real one but how kind of him to give you one out of his collection.
That looks like either a 1982 Saab 900 or a '76 Ford F150?
I don't know much about cars....
Thanks all...and ya know what? After close inspection of the "vehicle" I see that it does say Impala SS...duh!
Buff, I bet you didn't even have to think about that huh? You guys and cars!
MeAnn, Yup the 60's were pretty good! :-)
Willthink, 8 kids????? Wowee!
Paul, I have to go look chevelles up...don't recall what they look like.
Claudia, but you already are so totally cool!
Ivanhoe, Yeah I like it too. My first car was a 1969 Ford Fairlaine!
Patti, Yeah I could've been a Super sport! hehe.
Roger, Cool, do you remember what color it was?
Slip, 64 huh? that was before I was born!!!! ahahahahahahaha
Nap...Yeah that would be awesome, wouldn't it?
Dianne, Thanks! I think I would too! LOL.
Katherine, Yes I was very surprised he gave it up!!
(but then again, I was such a great employee, hehe.)
Annie my dear, Yes, I'm due for some high tea......Some day.......
Comedy, I'd really rather be on a boat!!! Have a wonderful time!
Raven, Wish I could do that!
Ake, Yeah, he was really a nice guy and fun to work for too.
M@...thanks for the guesses......;-)
How cute!!!
ummmmm.... an old red toy car?
It's a always classic '64 Impala SS - red, baby moon hub caps, and the flags on the fender mean it's a 'Turbo-Fire' 327 or 'Turbo-Thrust' 409 - I didn't make those names up, GM did. Honest!
Not a 63, 1965 or 65 impala SuperSport, if I could see the back of the car I will tell you for sure.
oh i'm late and i knew the answer! drat...
smiles, bee
xoxoxoxoxooxxo

Drats! i forgot to play! Wah~!
Love those old cars
Great old RED car, Odat! Thanks for playing! :)
