The "Three" and The "Door"

Tank, Tini, and Snotdog(Spud)

As part of my house renovation, I had a back door installed on my house. I used to have to take the dogs out to the back yard via my side door. I have a very long driveway, so this entailed putting leashes on Tank and Tina (cause they have a habit of running out to the street to say hello (bark) at the neighbors or passing cars, putting on my coat and shoes (or boots, depending on the weather), exiting the side door to enter the yard thru the gate. Now, however, all I have to do is roll out of bed and open the back door to the yard!!! This comes in very handy, especially on a day like today, where we're having a bit of an ice storm.

I know this doesn't sound like much, but I am very exited about it. Anything that makes my life easier is always good!

Peace

And a very fine back door it is! Small changes make big differences! And those 12 tiny, furry feets probably appreciate less walking in snow and ice, too!

life is good, what ever makes it easy is good. You should have stayed in PR for another 60 days.

I'm all for anything to help make our lives easier. Not lazy, just like conveniences.

Your furkids are adorable. Is Tini a new addition?

Barb, Yes it makes the world of difference! But the dogs keep going to the side door when I yell "out"! lol.

Sarge, I would have stayed longer if only the dogs stay at "Camp Bow Wow" didn't cost more than my vacation...lol

Lois,
"Martini" (the name she came with) I rescued in April from our local rescue group. She's 7 years old and she a doll! I love her to death...her owner dropped her off the day I was there and just left her! She was sitting there shaking so hard she was a blur. I originally agreed to be her foster mom, but of course, I feel in love with her and the other "two" get along with her so well!

That sounds like a great addition to your home. Anything that makes life easier is worth the money.

Very sensible and it looks great too. So can you now just shove them out and let them run around unsupervised? (especially on icy days?)

Smart change. Whatever it takes to make our life easier, I'm all for it. Good for you, and your babies.

Enjoy your day. Big hugs...

I think this is great and since we have a dog I can so relate. Anything that is easier is better. They go potty a lot.

Have a terrific day Odat. :)
