Never Forget

SIGN IN A STORE WINDOW:

"WE WOULD RATHER DO BUSINESS WITH 1000 ALQAEDA TERRORISTS THAN WITH ONE SINGLE AMERICAN"

This sign was prominently displayed in the window of a business in Philadelphia . You are probably outraged at the thought of such an inflammatory statement. However, We are a society which holds Freedom of Speech as perhaps our greatest liberty. And after all, it is just a sign. You may ask what kind of business would dare post such a sign.

Answer: A Funeral Home

(Who said morticians had no sense of humor?)

You gotta love it!!! God Bless America

Peace

Ah, funeral home humor. Sounds like Catskills type jokes (sort of):

"Stop...you're killing me!"
"Well, that joke fell flat"
"Take my terrorist...Please!"

I was absolutely furious until I finished reading the post! Although it still has a ring of sadness that a sign like that should even have to exist.

Odat--thanks for the smile! It reminds me of a joke. During the Cold war, a reporter asked a man how he felt about life in East Germany. He said that he loved it, and that he "worked day and night for the government of East Germany." The reporter, impressed, asked him what his job was. He responded, "I am a gravedigger."

I will have to pass that along to my friend, she's studying to be a mortician...and she's in the US Army. Hehe, she's get a kick out of that for sure!

I did answer your question about rations, in case you did not see it:

A & B Rations are hot meals
C Rations are what you saw
Todays Army has MRE (Meal Ready to Eat)
