Happy Monkey Monday!

Can you say MONDAY?   I can't. Not anymore! :-) I raise my glass to all of you that must go forth into the world today!  Do you know that since I've retired that I actually have to think what day it is when I wake up?  I know!!!!  Isn't it awful????

I'm still cleaning out the house here.  It's never ending.  But I can't do it all the time.  I work one day, then take a few relaxation days.  It works for me.  Got a few concerts lined up in the future and hopefully a little trip to visit friends.

I got rid of my carpenter bees.  The "Pest Man" came and plugged their holes up and said they would fly away and find another spot.  (Hopefully in that neighbor's house that I don't particularly care for).   I'm also getting the lawn into shape.  It's all looking good on the outside!!  But still somewhat of a mess inside.  Yup, that's my life at the moment.

Well, I really hope you have a great day.  I've got loads of things lined up for today.  I just hope it warms up a little.   (Yeah, soon I'll be complaining it's too hot, but hey, it gives me something to write about.)

Peace

Must be nice not to know what day it is ;-)

I don't think we'll ever retire. We are just getting going here.

Person before retiring: "What time is it?"
Person after retiring: "What day is it?"
Just envy on my part dear, plus my yard looks like Mordor...

Patti,
It takes getting used to but it's a wonderful feeling....you'll get there some day!

Matt,
I can't get stuck. I have to keep going forward. It's for the best. I hope I can continue along my path of hope.

Buff,
LOL....
Lawns aren't all that important! We kinda let ours go in the last few years too. I'm just now trying to get it to look decent.

Happy Monday! I admire your clearing/cleaning - and what a perfect time of year to do it. I have a friend who called cleaning/clearing "detoxifying" - so good for you!

I too forget what day of the week it is. I love it very much too. You can just say that everyday is either Saturday or Sunday. Works for me.

You'll get everything done. I like how you are pacing yourself. I'm also glad you got rid of the carpenter bees. Good job.

Have a great day sweetie. Big hug and lotsa lovies. :)

Not retired, just temporarily on hiatus, I can relate to the freedom and luxury of sliding from weekend to week. Not for long, but for now. :)

As long as the "relaxation days" outnumber the work days O, you can be retired.

I feel your pain I went out Monday to get the Sunday paper. It was just as crappy one day late. This retirement thing is not at all over rated, I am loving life.
