3 Question Meme

Paul, from Shadow of Diogenes, tagged me with this three question tag:

Q1)  What is your favorite novel ?

(Q2)  Who is your favorite author ?

(Q3)  Do you prefer fiction or non fiction ?

I honestly have to admit that I really don't have a favorite novel.  I can say that the novel that impressed me the most when I was young was Little Women.   And I always read the Nancy Drew Detective series. Also the Hardy Boys.  lol.

Later in life I read every book I got my hands on....both fiction and non fiction.  I think I've read every self help book ever published.  When I was in school I loved philosophy.

I love to read and read lots of books now.  Mostly fiction.  I pick my books through friend's recommendations or if it looks interesting, I buy it.   This is how I am with music too.  Don't ask me who sang it or who wrote it, if it sounds good to me, that's enough.

Peace

Favorite novel- Probably "Lord of The Rings" Trilogy. Please understand, I read these in the late sixties, long before the movies! I have the hard cover collectors addition, and a 1st edition of the Silmarilion...
Favorite author- Quite a few, but I'll list H.P.Lovecraft.
Fiction or Non-fiction? Fiction, every time! If I want non-fiction, I'll watch the news...

How fun Odat. I too love to read, but all my reading is for relaxation. Easy reads and entertaining stories. Like Nora Roberts writing as J.D. Robb. My favorite. Have a great day sweetie. Big hug and lotsa lovies. :)

I believe it is very hard for avid readers to pick ONE favorite book. I loved Little Women when I was a child, and the film of the book made several years ago is wonderful. Our family now has the tradition of watching it over the Christmas holidays when our (young adult) kids come home.

Oh... you're pixie is gone. Sigh. I guess everything has a season. I always wanted to be just like her. She had great clothing, and always smiled. She could stand in the rain? And her hair wouldn't frizz. That's impressive to me.

Gosh, I'm glad you didn't tag me. I don't think I could have done as well as you did! I like too many books and have been influenced by so many authors.... :) Including the ever impressive Odat.

The pixie is gone through no fault of mine ;-( She disappeared one day and when I tried to get her back found the sight was disconnected!

And you're so sweet!! Thank you.

Peace

As a child I used to gobble up Nancy Drew mysteries and as a teen-ager I loved Agatha Christie.
