OMG I Have a Headache

One of my many nice neighbors is on vacation this week and has her brother staying at her house....she's the one that watches my dogs on occasion. Her brother works during the day and she asked me to go over to let her dog out during the day. She has an alarm on her house and she gave me the codes and told me what to press to disarm it. Ok. sounds easy. Right? Wrong! Twice in two days, I've set her alarm off! lol. That ear splitting alarm that can make a dog and a human go deaf! OMG....I was so nervous that the fire department and the police would be coming any minute. Thankfully, she told the alarm company to call her first before they sent the police. so I got a call from her in Florida and she was just laughing. It's nerve wracking to say the least. At least she was understanding and the police didn't come. (But I think her dog is now deaf).

Peace

I swear that alarms are just for driving us fumblers crazy... if there's a code, I'll screw it up... and yes, I"ll go deaf.

HUgs... you're not alone.

I've set our alarm off a couple of times and yes it's loud. Been a long time ago now. You get used to working it. You poor thing.

Have a terrific day. :)

I hate alarm systems. If it can be screwed up, I will screw it up. I won't get one here because I KNOW my parents would constantly be setting it off. Instead, I have awesome neighbors!

I do have a neighbor across the Swamp who must be a lot like me because his alarm is always going off. He must pay a fortune in false alarms. :D

Big hugs :]

One time my parents were coming to visit, and I gave them the alarm code. Only I forgot to say press the "off" button after you enter the code. Well the alarm rang for an hour before they were able to reach me to find out what was wrong. Whoops. Yeah their heads were ringing too.

Alarms can be both a blessing and a curse don't you think? :!

LOL.... Is the dog scared of you yet-or has it not learned to associate you with the alarm?
