Happy Monkey Monday

Happy Monkey Monday!

Hey, it won't be too much longer before I don't have to try to cheer myself up because it's Monday. I started Monkey Mondays so the first day of the work week wouldn't feel so bad. But soon........I won' t need no stinking monkeys to cheer me up. Hehe.

Yes, I'm really retiring at the end of the month. I've been working far too long. And it's just time for me. I've got lots to keep me busy these days, in spite of it all. I'm going to renovate the house and stay there for a bit, let the emotional dust settle, then see how I feel. I'll be doing a little traveling. Not sure where yet. Mostly, I'm going to learn how to relax again. I used to be able to do that really well. In the meantime I keep moving forward...slowly. I have to get used to a new world and I want to do that in a healthy way.

Peace

We'll still need something to uplift us on a Monday. Wow, I'm only 26 and I'm jealous of you retiring. Haha. Though honestly I'd go bonkers if I didn't have something to work on. Maybe you can have Mole Monday. Moles are slow and calm, right. Lol. I don't know.

I'm excited for you. I really love the way you take on life - full force, full throttle, with your hair flapping in the wind. Hurray for you! I hope you will still keep us up to date on your retirement as you do on your life. I've learned much from you.

Sarge, like I said, I'll keep a lil monkey... ;-), but not necessarily on Mondays.

Bee, a little bit of a plan...but a plan just as well.

LGS, Yeah, I'm still thinking: Wow.
I still can't believe I'm doing it!

Cas, thanks...

Claudia, Oh you won't get rid of me that easily....I'll be here, flapping hair and all. :-)

Sandee...Oh I know I'll love it!!
I've been practicing a lot by taking at least two days a week off! hehe. Thanks for all your big hugs...they help!

Diane, lol, Like I said, I'll keep some monkey around....
I'm not sure I saw that ad...

Patti, yup, relaxation...here I come! (I hope I remember how).

Michael, Yes!!!! Finally, Fundays everyday and you didn't even have to run for office and enact it! And besides, I couldn't wait for you, I had to do it all by myself...;-)

C.O.W (oh I don't like that..cow, that is, so I won't use that!) let's start again:
Citizenoftheworld: To answer your question in one word: YES! ;-)

Say It...Thanks, I'm trying real hard to do the right thing.

and Jeff???? Me thinks you fib!
hehe.
I'm surprised no one else mentioned the cartoon! That was one of the funnier ones I've ever seen.

Very good Odat. You seem to have things mapped out. And you know that you can change your mind too. One step at a time...all the time.
