Right behind you girl! I am down to 4 working days left. April 1, 2, 7, 8.I have sick time I am using or lose it situation. Last official day is April 26. My party is May 9, but the kids at work are up to something, because I have gotten three phone calls at home all wanting to know if I am working for sure on the first.
Way to go makes working like a dog all your life seem worth it!

Congratulations!!!! I found you via a link at Idaho Daily Photo. I didn't do an official retirement or have a party. I was having some health issues and gave up my job to deal with them. I hadn't intended to retire then, but it looks like I've been forced to do so. My health will never be good enough to promise to show up every day and put in my 8 hours. So, I'm enjoying your party. Good for you for doing the time and earning your retirement!
Well, I went through with it...I'm officially retired right now...i had a great day today, but really can't believe I'm doing this...It's a little scary, a lot wonderful, and bittersweet all at the same time. I just want to thank all of you for joining in and celebrating with me today...It's been great fun!!! hehe. Peace
