Work and Candy, or Not Work and Candy

I've been playing catch up at work all week....to get ready for things to come....(spooky music should be heard here now)....and because of that , well not just that..well, my circuits are overloaded and my brain is fried. So when I'm in this kind of mood I just randomly type and whatever comes out is what goes here! Randomness....stream of conscienceness......too much sugar eaten.....thanks to all those sweet little trick or treaters who stopped tricking and treating at a very early hour only to leave moi with a pumpkin bowl filled with M&M's, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Vanilla Tootsie Rolls (new and oh so good), Hersey Kisses filled with cherry cordial (another new one and ohhh sooooooooooo yummy). I really don't eat a lot of sugar but once I get started I'm like a junkie on herion.....I just couldn't have one piece of candy...I literally tried every kind of candy I had. I was 7 years old again with a great big bag of very very cool candy. Nothing I didn't like and nothing I didn't try. I overdosed. And I felt rotten yesterday morning. Had a sugar hangover and because of this I was not up to my normal efficient, eager beaver working self yesterday. Oh well...can't expect to be perfect all the time ..hahahahahahahahah......I've got to remember to bring that shit to work with me today.
Peace

Yes,
I too have learned that work is the great repository FOR ANY type of food you want to get rid of. When people (like me, you see) get bored enough, they'll eat anything!

Wild Irish Rose is the perfect cure for ANY type of hangover. Cheers..,

What's awful is that the tradition of trick or treating seems to be dying. You gotta do something with all that leftover candy, right?

When I was a kid, I would OD on chocolate to the point that my poor little body would have to eject at least some of it....

You have to eat something salty when you overdose on sugar. Then you have to eat something sweet again...

That's right, spread the sugar hangover!

I think you need a hair of the dog.

Actually, does "hair of the dog" fit when you're talking about candy? Maybe it should be "feather of the parakeet" or "tail of the squirrel" or something like that.
