The show was on TV back in black & white- Lassie! That dog was so smart (compared to its' human owners!) it must have been two midgets in a fur coat....

If Lassie was so smart, why didn't he tell Timmy not to fall in the well?

Just kidding. I liked the old Black and White Lassie show too ~

Totally loved the quotes! I have a dog, she is 8 years old and her name is Mya Marie. She is a Maltese and I rescued her when she was three years old. She is definitely a goof.

I like the shepherd-looking one because it looks like our dog. Hmm. Does "Dog Day Afternoon" count? Did you ever see the time Jimmy Stewart read a poem about his dog on the Carson show? Omigosh. You think it's gonna be funny, and then you cry.

I feel compelled to say that my retriever Mabel sleeps on her back with all 4 legs spread eagle...does this mean she's easy??

pawlie, As you can see I have a propensity towards flat nosed dogs...;-). Dog Day Afternoon is as good a dog movie as any!
And now that you mentioned the Jimmie Stewart read, I seem to recall something way back in the recesses of my mind about that.

michael, and why were you compelled to tell us all that??
and yes, it shows she's easy! ;-)

Annie, Good to see you too!!!!
