Snot Dog

I have a dog attached to me. He never leaves my side. Yes my Snot dog is a Momma's boy. He has to have me in his vision at all times or he goes crazy. When he can't see me he hurries thru all the rooms looking for me. He won't eat unless I stand there with him. When I leave for work he gives me the most pathetic look and I'm sure he just sits by the door waiting for me to come home....sad isn't it? He's a great dog, mind you....he loves to play and run and catch balls in his little mouth and bring them back....he loves playing with the neighborhood dogs.....(the one next door humps his face. I must get a video of that.hehe). He's a great lil dog. I'm thinking of getting another one just to keep him company.....but then again, when I think that through...I may not. I wonder if a stuffed lil mutt would have the same effect? What do you think?

Should I get another dog?

Peace

Awwwwww. He's like a baby.

How do you feel about felines? They require very little work and you don't have to walk them. Don't mind me, I have cats on the brain since we are going to get another one soon.

Patti, I've always been a cat person...Had them all my life up until I got Mr. Snot Man....maybe I'll try and see how he gets along with a cat.

Paul, Yes you do!!

casdok, Snot is not his real name, e'one just calls him that cause he's always sneezing...His real name is Spud, cause he looked like a lil baked potato when I first go him! ;-)

Roger, lol, I have a feeling tho that you'd require a lot more care!! ;-)

Hmmmmm, I wonder what would happen when Snotty realizes he is vying for your affection with another dog. It could get ugly...or be entertaining But not in a Michael Vick sorta way. Wow, it's easy to give someone the wrong meaning...

Michael, you may have a good point there....

Our dog does the "Don't leave me" act whether we go to the mail box or all day to work! She then greets us like we left her for a week! I don't think dogs understand time exactly like we do. Two dogs= 2x poop, 2x food, jealousy, etc. Of course, our dog weighs 80lbs- you could have 4 pugs and not have the poop/food issues we do!

buffalo, LOL, I know what you mean about the time issue....my dog does the same thing even when I just take out the garbage! And yes, I did take into consideration the "two" of everything! I'm not sure what I'm going to do...if anything...

Yes, another dog, just to see if it will hump his face, or vice versa.

Yes.. Auntie Deb says that little Spud Muffin needs a brother and/or a girlfriend named Tater Tot.

Pool, wow....two of each huh?

Paulie, Could prove interesting huh....actually he's not that ugly that another dog should think his face was something else. hehe.

Auntie Deb....Snort, snort...hubba hubba, Tater Tot huh???? yum.
(Love, Snotdog)

One snot dog is enough! Get a cat and watch the interaction. There should be some good footage you can film for Youtube or Jibjab.

nos, how true!!! lol.

mike, he doesn't even know what a cat is! when we pass one in the street, he completely ignores it.
Strange huh?

Hmmm - even though I'm not personally much on little dogs, I'd vote yes. Dogs are pack animals - very social. He might be less lonely during the day while you are gone.
